How do I make an appointment?
What should I wear in the sauna?
Wear lightweight clothing for comfort and convenience. Lightweight shorts and tee shirts are a good option. Your "Birthday Suit" is perfectly fine too. The more skin exposure the better. We highly recommend using the provided Bamboo Carbon Body Wrap or Bath Towel to maximize infrared absorption. Please ensure that your body is free of any type of lotion or oils before attending your infrared sauna session in order to maximize perspiration. Also, we kindly request that you remove all footwear prior to entering the infrared sauna.
How long are the sessions?
Infrared sauna sessions range from 30 to 45-minutes depending on which type of health program is selected. Custom programs are also available. With our full spectrum infrared sauna technology, every minute is a pleasant, warm, and relaxing experience.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We are happy to accommodate walk-ins based on infrared sauna availability. However, it is best to book your session online, or call us at 815-534-5036 to make an appointment and verify availability.
How often should I use an infrared sauna?
We are happy to discuss your individual health and wellness goals during your first visit. In most cases, we hope to see you no less than once a week, but in many instances and for optimal results, at least 2-3 times a week is often recommended. Remember, infrared sauna therapy is a wonderful enhancement to any wellness routine and our committed members enjoy the lowest rates and report the best results!
Can more than one person go in the sauna at a time?
Absolutely! We have three private sauna suites. Two of our saunas can accommodate two to three people comfortably. Our third sauna can accommodate four to six people.
Can I share my membership/package?
Wellistics memberships cannot be shared. All Wellistics memberships are sold individually and are not sharable or transferable. Our Wellness Warrior Family Membership is the only membership that can be fully shared. All Wellistics Packages can be shared.
What are the terms and conditions of memberships?
A membership commitment will automatically renew every month using our Month to Month Autopay System. Your monthly auto-pay membership will begin on the first day of each month and your next payment will automatically be debited on the first day of each subsequent month unless we receive a notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to the date the next payment is due. For example, if you purchase a membership say on May 1st, your membership will be good for one month and it will automatically renew on June 1st.
What if I am running late or need to cancel my scheduled session?
As standard practice, we will request all clients provide credit card information to hold a reservation. As a courtesy to our guests, we request cancellations 24 hours before your appointment time. No call, no shows for single session bookings will be considered a late cancel and counted as fulfilled. If clients with a membership or package cancel an appointment outside our requested notice, one session may be counted as fulfilled. Clients who hold a Wellness Warrior Membership, Wellness Warrior Family Membership, or a Monthly Pass may be charged an additional $10 for each cancellation outside of the requested 24 hour notice timeframe.
Are all of your saunas private?
Yes. Although the studio’s reception area is public, each infrared sauna suite is exclusively private. Once you enter your sauna suite, you will be able to enjoy your session free from interruptions.
How soon will I see or feel results?
Everyone's body chemistry is different. It may take a few sessions for the body to adjust, accept, and fully develop a response to the infrared heat allowing pores to open and the deep detoxification process to begin. However, many of our clients have reported better quality sleep, less fatigue, noticeable pain relief, and notable improvements to their overall complexion and skin after just one session!
Is the weight loss only water?

Are the saunas sanitary?
Yes. Infrared light naturally eliminates the presence of viral, bacterial, and fungal toxins. Additionally, our infrared sauans are self sanitizing and our staff is fully trained to properly clean and sanitize the infrared saunas after each use. In addition, rest assured that you can always expect clean and fresh towels and linens while visiting the studio. Since all of are laundry services are performed in-house and onsite at our studio, you will always be provided with exceptionally clean and fresh bamboo carbon towels and wraps for each and every session.
How long will it take for my core body temperature to return to normal?

You can save time by downloading the Consent Form off our website under the forms tab, printing it, and bringing it with you to your first appointment.
Do you provide showers?
No. You may notice that your body continues to sweat for some time after your infrared sauna session. We recommend waiting at least 30 to 60 minutes before showering to allow your body to continue to fully release toxins. We do provide a cool aromatherapy eucalyptus infused towelette after each session so that you leave feeling clean and refreshed.
Do you provide water?
Yes. A 16.9 ounce complimentary bottle of water is provided to all Wellistics guests for each session. Please keep in mind that the more hydrated you are, the more you will sweat. Be sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your session.
What should I do while I sauna?
We encourage our guests to use their infrared sauna time to relax and simply allow the infrared heat to melt away any stress or fatigue you may be experiencing. However, our guests also have access to a multi-media experience using our Android tablets to watch Netflix or listen to music while in session. Please feel free to enjoy a book or magazine or do some seated stretches as well!
What if I have implants?
Metal pins, rods, artificial joints, limbs, or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves; thus, are not heated by this system. Implanted silicone or silicone prosthetics for nose or ear replacement may be warmed by the infrared waves. Since silicone melts at over 392˚F (200˚C), it should not be adversely affected by the use of an infrared sauna; nevertheless, you should always consult your surgeon or primary care physician prior to using an infrared sauna with any medical questions. Individuals with pacemakers and and or difibrillators should not use the infrared sauna as some of the panels within our infrared saunas contain magnets which may interfere with pacing and other functions.

May I book my private event or party at Wellistics?
Yes, we would love to host your athletic training group, bachelorette party, ladies’ day/night out, wellness forum, birthday, or any other special event that may be of interest to you. How safe is infrared?
Infrared heat is completely safe and healthy for all living things. It is completely safe and healthy and although infrared light is a naturally occurring wavelength of the sun, it does not contain the harmful UV rays associated with unprotected sunlight. In fact, one can be exposed to infrared light for hours without the risk of burning. Infrared heat is so safe, hospitals use infrared to warm newborn infants. This type of gentle, comforting and safe, heat warms you from the inside out for a deep and detoxifying sweat.
What's the difference between an infrared sauna and a conventional sauna?
Infrared heat is a very safe, soothing and gentle heat. Unlike conventional saunas which use hot rocks or steam and operate in excess of 180 degrees Fahrenheit making the experience unbearably hot and difficult to breath, infrared saunas have the benefit of being effective at a more comfortable operating temperature of between 120-158 degrees Fahrenheit. Conventional saunas only heat the air in the cabin whereas infrared heat penetrate deep into cell tissue giving you a deep detoxifying sweat.
