INFRARED SAUNA ETIQUETTE

Best Practices When Using An Infrared Sauna

  • Please make every effort to arrive on time for your appointment.

  • Ensure your body is free of excess oils, lotions, make-up, and perfume before coming to sauna. Clean skin will ensure optimal absorption of infrared wavelengths.

  • Hydrate! It is recommended that you drink a minimum of 8-16 oz of water before your sauna session and 8-16 oz after.

  • To ensure the health and safety of our guests, plastic water bottles with caps will be allowed inside the sauna. Stainless steel or glass water bottles will not be permitted.

  • Please be sure to remove all footwear prior to entering the sauna.

  • Sauna doors are made of glass – please handle with care. Once you have completed your session, please be sure the door closes behind you to ensure the sauna cabin stays warm for the next guest.

  • Be mindful of others. If you have chosen to sauna with a friend or loved one, please keep conversations and music/movies to a considerate volume.

  • Cell phones – Please silence your ringer and refrain from talking on your phone during your session as it may disrupt the experience of other guests.

  • Texting is permitted (without volume) and social media check-ins are encouraged if you so choose.

  • Upon completion of your session, we kindly request that you place any used Bamboo Carbon towels and wraps in the designated laundry receptacle located within the linen tower near the door.

  • Be mindful of where you place your jewelry and valuables. Wellistics is not responsible for lost items. A tray for personal items is available for use on the small end table located in the corner each suite.

  • Infrared sauna use is at your own risk. Please consult with your doctor or primary care physician regarding any medical conditions that may disqualify you from sauna use. Metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves and thus are not heated by the infrared sauna.

  • Individuals with implanted pacemakers and or defibrillators should not use an infrared sauna as the magnets used to assemble our saunas can interrupt the pacing and inhibit the output of pacemakers.

Relax and and rejuvenate your body. Enjoy the gentle heat of your personal infrared sauna experience!
